We are hiring a Production Supervisor (Manufacturing environment) for a Contract To Hire position in Rancho Santa Margarita, CAProduction Supervisor
A manufacturing company in Rancho Santa Margarita is seeking a Production Supervisor. The environment is a clean, process oriented environment. The Production Supervisor role oversees the finishing department (micro-part polishing, heat-treating and deburring). We are looking for someone who can manage and supervise people, ensure adherence to process and assume manpower projection planning to meet order delivery commitment dates. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with all departments and have excellent communication skills. This is a temp-to-hire position and compensation is based on experience.
Qualifications:
- Supervisor experience is preferred
- Manufacturing background is helpful
- Must possess strong people management and communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic PC skills
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
- Project how many people are needed for the job
- Put the right employee against the right roles
- Manpower planning for finishing Ops.
o Working with the department of approximately 20 people.
o Must be able to assign duties based on employee count for the day (after call-ins).
o Must be able to adjust manpower plan to meet on-time delivery in the event of absenteeism.
- Work with all departmentsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
